Saturday at the casino's buffet is all you can enjoy crab legs or prime rib. There was a long wait to get in but not too bad of a wait to get crab legs or prime rib. Crab legs tasted great, prime rib had a huge chunk fat more then usual prime. Everything else hot was the usual mass buffet quality food. Desserts were all very good (My sweet tooth was satisfied). Staff were all helpful and friendly.
Maintenance says our room 231 is keyed incorrectly it actually takes a key that you can also use on room 232 and he gives us one room key. With out telling the front desk that our room key is keyed differently, my girlfriend and I go our separate ways and I go to the hotel room and I do not have a key. So I walk to the front desk to get a new key explain to the lady hey I would like another key please for my room is there any notes on my account that said that the door is keyed differently? She says no sir it does not so I will make you a key for room 231 so I walk all the way back to room 231 and what are you know it doesn’t work, So I walk all way back to the desk kindly explain to the lady how I will be writing a review on my experience. She said that she would go to my room with the key for 231 and see if it works I advised her it’s a long walk but please prove me wrong! She comes back and says yeah I couldn’t get it to work, to which I said surprise surprise! Middle of the night alarms go off hotel Springs a huge water main leak and asked everybody in the hotel side to evacuate their rooms due to an emergency at 2 AM till 4:30 AM, and for that they gave us a free breakfast!
Decent casino. Variety of slots and table games. Went during the day and not a lot of people there. As we were leaving at night a lot more people coming in. Kind of got a weird vibe while there though. It seemed every time I turned around one of the staff on the floor was standing behind us watching us gamble. Didn't care for that and maybe it wad because they were slow but I found it odd and uncomfortable. I'll have to go back and check it out again and hopefully it won't be like that. Did win a bit so all in all it was fun.
I do not recommend that anyone stay or play at grand Falls, I personally had a much better and more professional experience at Royal River Casino and Christmas Eve!
So, I received a New Years party invitation from Grandfalls Casino, which included free night stay and an invitation to the new year celebration. We show up get our room, go to our room and the keys do not work. Mind you, our room second floor all the way at the end of the hallway. So I call the desk she says please come down and get A New key. I walk all the way back to the front desk get two new keys, walk all the way back to the room and those don’t work also. So I call the front desk explain to the lady that the new keys no longer work and I need maintenance. As were waiting for maintenance I go find management and they deemed it beneficial to comp $20 for drinks while my girlfriend sit outside of our hotel room what your luggage waiting for maintenance!
Dealers are incredibly interactive and make the table games a great experience. One thing I love is that they actually help you with better odds.. you don't usually see this! Also, the rooms are cozy and hot tub is wonderful.

Had my company Christmas party in the event center. By far the best one yet. Nice and roomy event hall and friendly staff. Also got to see the hotel, beautiful rooms with a beautiful view of the "falls." I would definitely go back again.
